 Should increase it, but I think the story about the muffler being restrictive is an old wives tale. My boost never changed much with or without the muffler. Now, changing out the carb to a 2" Jag SU, now that's a WAY different story!!!

Quick question on this guys:

     I read that the carb and muffler being restrictive is what was actually
used to limit the boost and that replacing either or both with better
flowing unis will increase boost.  So does going to a higher flow muffler on
a stock turbo car increase or decrease boost?  (assume no other mods).
