I agree with John -- in fact I don't see that removing the doors does 
anything but increase warm up time.  When mine is driven long and 
hard, the doors are horizontal to the ground and are not impeding 
flow in any meaningful way.

I should also point out that on my coupe and Spyder, with normal 75 
mph freeway driving to work, it is rare for the doors to open all the 
way because it just does not get that hot.  You have to flog it to 
get 100% open, and I am surprised at the times I go on short drives 
and find the doors still mostly closed.  And yes, I have good 
thermostats properly adjusted :-)

See previous email on running to cold and taking longer to warm up 
(bad bad) ... so I would consider this the worst possible 
option.  Does nothing for you, could hurt.
