Yeah, we are getting a little off-topic here, but it started out as
"automatic Trans Corvairs vs. manual shift Corvairs"

It somehow turned into "driving boats on long trips" rather than the "joy of
driving a Corvair with manual controls" 

Sorry about that, but it was not my intention, and I don't care a fig about
automatic trans Queen Victorias, etc.  Got nuttin' to do with Corbvairs
IMHO?

I don't know what the going rate for a large rodent's anus is these days,  
but I think I'll send the ones I find to Durango, Colorado... Timothy seems 
to  be hoarding them... <VBG>

And in all seriousness here Timothy, your  note would have carried a lot 
more weight had you left that last sentence  fragment off... you speak of 
offensiveness and tolerance, and then throw that  (which some could claim 
offensive) back out there.
