<VV> Late model Manual Transmission Shift Coupler Instructions

There should be a bent tab in the back end of the shift tube that indexes intr o the keyway machined into the top of the shift coupler.  If that is bent or gone it become trial and error to get the coupler lined up with the shift tube.

How are the bushings at each end of the shift tube?
