Not a wise axx answer but the manuals for the EM or LM do give quite good 
instructions. Try the correct one and see if it works for your friend. Also some 
people braze up the holes and that helps a lot including a new pin.

I am looking for a little help for a friend trying to get his shift coupler
installed.



He has been having trouble with the install as he will only be able to get
into Rev-1-2.or just 3-4.



>From my own experience, I know when the pin/holes are worn, it becomes
really tough to get into gears.  He has ordered a new coupler from Clarks.



Does anyone have any tips for installing the shift coupler?
