<VV> strange Corvair Decade question

Hello all,

     I just finally got a copy of "The Corvair Decade".. a book I've had on
my wish list for years.  The copy I have is a 1980 I think copy, with a red
cover.  I just noticed flipping through for the first time that several
photos, examples being Pg 46 Sebring Spyder photo and Pg 47 Don Colburn's 62
Monza convertible... are printed in GREEN and white...  this makes the photo
of the 62 Convertible especially look very strange... awful actually.  I
can't imagine this having been intentional.  Is my book the victim of a
printing glitch or is this the way they all were?

     I can scan the photo and upload it if anyone is interested.  The
monochromatic green photo of what I have to assume is a green car is really
strange, and looks very "washed out".
