Ok the very best and safest  item to destroy fabric eating mice and other grain seeking vermin is simply cornmeal and portland cement.. Mix dry portland roughly 50/50 with cornmeal. Place in mayonaise lids by each tire. Rodent wont get much further...in the event they do get in the car and die they will not smell. And you dont have to worry about the kids, the cats, or dogs. Granted this is meant for a dry garage....it will set up if it gets damp.
