Hey Smitty,
Have you checked to make sure the gas tank is properly vented? If
air can't get into the tank, the gasoline ain't gonna get out to the
engine.<GGG>
     Good luck!

Hello Smitty,
A couple of things you might have overlooked. First is the fuel pump. How
is it? Also since the spark seems OKay, how about removing the carb tops
right after it dies and see how much fuel is in the bowls. That should
tell
you whether it is a fuel problem. Lastly, how about the exhaust flow?
Could
the muffler be an obstruction somehow? Iv'e heard of them shifting
internals
and restricting the flow.

OH, you didn't mention it, but does the timing light stay on the exact
spot
on the pulley when it sputters and dies?

Regards,
Bob Helt
