Some folks would take that as a personal challenge! A state in the  
Northeast set up a radar gun on an overpass with the radar aimed up a straight  
part of the freeway. They installed a large MPH sign on the freeway to warn  
motorists of their speed. A week later they found a spray painted starting 
line  about a quarter mile up the roads. Guys were seeing who could set the 
fastest  speed by the time they went under the overpass. They had to re-program 
the  display to just flash 55+ when people exceeded the limit.  Boys will 
be  boys!
