That reminded me something. My 84 Camaro wouldn't start due to a  
faulty fuel pump, the gear was stuck in reverse and my front hood  
wouldn't stay open on its own. Two mechanics came to take the car to  
the shop. One gets in the car to drive. The second guy sits on the  
fender spraying starting fluid to keep it running and I stood on top  
of the radiator holding the hood up. We drove it for about 1/16 of a  
mile in reverse down the road like this. I can imagine passing  
drivers in shock seeing just my head way up there like a hood ornament!
