Jim, What kind of tweaking are we talking about? I know you can build a
hybrid early/late turbo that will come in sooner, and I know that a blow
through turbo setup will yield results similar to what you are talking
about but that gets pricey pretty quick and doesn't look stock. You can
use a modern turbo, but they are pretty expensive and require some
fabrication that won't look original.
Upgrading the carburetor (and muffler) also helps a lot, but again the
custom carbs don't look stock and aren't cheap.
I'd like to get the best performance out of my 180 I can without changing
it's appearance noticeably or spending a bunch of money.
