  Not a list of Spare parts....or where to put them for storage....  Just Tricks to facilitate  repairs!



What  types of   things would you do to a STOCK  Corvair vehicle to maker it possible/ easier  to repair any of the NON MAJOR  systems.


Dropped valve seats, thrown connecting rods/ broken crankshafts,  differential and transmissions excluded.




Please Specify if EM / FC / LM  




LM      rear hub assy with backing plate drilled for E-brake cable on either side.


ALL ENGINES    replaceable  Fan  bearings.....  with Square cut from fan shroud...so you don't need to remove the top shroud


ALL ENGINES....  Convert to Floating wristpins...so piston  replacement  would be simple and quick!
