I found that what ever you take along on a road trip you won't need.  The things that seem to break are the things you don't have.  Tools and belt are a given, as are points, and condenser. I carry a fuel pump(mechanical) and an alternator too.  An assortment of nuts and bolts, duct tape (of course)  and a coil of baling type wire.  The CORSA directory, cell phone and AAA card.

o facilitate  repairs!

What  types of   things would you do to a STOCK  Corvair vehicle to maker it 
ossible/ easier  to repair any of the NON MAJOR  systems.

ropped valve seats, thrown connecting rods/ broken crankshafts,  differential 
nd transmissions excluded.


lease Specify if EM / FC / LM  


M      rear hub assy with backing plate drilled for E-brake cable on either 
ide.

LL ENGINES    replaceable  Fan  bearings.....  with Square cut from fan 
hroud...so you don't need to remove the top shroud

LL ENGINES....  Convert to Floating wristpins...so piston  replacement  would 
e simple and quick!
