<VV> DIFFERENTIAL RATIO COMMENTS

John,

Sometimes we try to get too technical with the terms we use here, this
is just a fun hobby. When you look at the books on the Corvair the
whole case and everything inside it is referred to as the Differential .
The charts listing the ratios say 'Differential Ratios' , nowhere have I
seen 'final drive' listed in the the GM manual or other books. We are
just car guys here, as long as everyone knows what we are talking about
that is all that matters, we know that within the Differential Carrier
Case ( known to car guys as the Differential ) there are gears that
determine the differential ratio. Sometimes it is confusing enough,
lets not
make it any worse.
