Hello, Mark, and thank you for your interest in the Sturbridge convention.

"Day trippers" and persons staying at other hotels are of course
welcomed at the convention. For parking, the NECC committee has a team
to help direct and guide parking. As you drive in to the hotel lot you
will see folks in orange vests, and you will see signs directing you.

You did not mention whether you will be driving a Corvair or a
non-Corvair, so for the benefit of those reading this, here is the
parking information for both kinds of cars:

If you are driving a Corvair, you will be directed to park in an area
reserved for Corvairs. This area is the same area that will be used for
Saturday's Peoples' Choice Car Display. You can park your Corvair there
and leave it there, or you can come and go as you please. The only
catch is that this area will be divided into sections which mirror the
classes for the Car Display, so if you are driving, say, an early model
convertible, you will be directed to the "Early Open" section of this area.

If you are driving a non-Corvair, you will be directed to park in a
different area of the hotel parking lot.

Both areas are equally accessible to guest rooms, vendor areas, tech
sessions etc.

What about trailers? As has been noted previously, trailer parking will
be at Old Sturbridge Village, which is across Route 20 from the hotel.
You can find detailed trailer parking information on the convention web
site,

http://www.corvair.org/chapters/necc/convention/trailer_parking.htm

which includes a downloadable PDF page with a map and instructions for
trailer parking.

We look forward to having you with us at Sturbridge.
