>From their web site:
Over time, all engines age and experience wear that could severely shorten
engine life. Now there is a motor oil that can virtually stop wear in its
tracks—new Quaker State Defy Motor Oil. Quaker State Defy is a synthetic
blend motor oil that’s engineered to defy time by preventing up to 98% of
future engine wear.* That means camshaft wear and bearing wear. Quaker State
Defy contains increased zinc anti-wear agents that target high temperature
and high-wear surfaces to help you get the most life out of your engine.

It is probably a blend of Synthetics and Dinosaur oil. In the right
viscosity, it is probably fine for our Corvairs. Plus Dale, Jr. says it is OKAY!

Hi All,

At last night's Derby City Corvair Club meeting, a member brought in a jug
of Quaker State "Defy" motor oil. It say it has enhanced zinc. It is only
about $15 for five quarts at Wally World. Does anyone know if this would be
good enough for our Corvairs or must I continue to look for much more
expensive racing oils or Amsoil with high zinc?

Thanks!
