<VV> question about this part (photo)

was this tapered in a cone shape? The slinger is not flat. If it's
flat, I think it is the washer that goes on after the outer wheel
bearing, under the nut, on the em's. Mark Durham

Over the past few days I've worked on organizing the various cardboard
boxes of random Corvair parts I've aquired with various car purchases.
 Today while sorting I saw this and it got me thinking.

Is this a washer that is supposed to be between the pulley and the main
seal behind it?

 I believe that's the oil slinger... goes behind the rear main seal.
