<VV> valve seats

I suppose a 500 degree trip to the oven is the ultimate test, however,
if a seat has been loose it leaves fretting marks around its edges, in
the cylinder and in the intake or exhaust ports. A thorough inspection
worked fine on my 102 heads. Mark Durham

Actually, a reputable head shop should heat your heads to 500 degrees
and check to see if anything’s loose....only way you can tell short of
dropping the seat while in use...!
