Ed and I have bad news!

As you know Sara White passed away two years ago.  Today, 5/5/12 in the afternoon, Walter Hugh White passed away after being in the hospital with complications of the heart. After a heart procedure he went into cardiac arrest and was brought back by code.  He never became stable and passed away peacefully. 

Walter has struggled for a year of going in and out of the hospital to find out what was wrong and several months ago underwent a triple by pass and valve replacement.  He never truly recovered.  He has also had to endure dialysis three times a week.  This last time in the hospital they performed a procedure and found a major artery completely clogged.  The clogged artery was in an area where they could not do surgery.  He was told there was nothing they could do for him and that if any part of the clog broke loose and entered his heart it would be fatal. 

On Thursday, 5/3/12 Ed and I went to visit Walter in the hospital and he was in good spirits and seemed to be doing well.  He had his procedure and knew there was nothing they could do for him and wanted us to bring him some things from his house and check on his cat Beau Beau.  On Saturday  Ed got the call that he had a code and was in ICU and not doing well.  They wanted us to come pick up his personal belongings.  Saturday after lunch we got the call that he had passed. Joyce Miller has been notified and will be coming to Pensacola soon to take care of his affairs.  Ed will help Joyce with these matters because she is a little overwhelmed.
