Why could you not get your turbo to run cooler?  As regards to the fan, 
if there is pressure in the plenum then there is as much cooling as a 
fan can push. Other issues involve condition / cleaning of the fins 
etc.   The Corvair fan is adequate for ALL cooling usages - the only 
question is how to accomplish the same cooling with less loss of 
horsepower -an elusive thing.

Since many others run thier turbo Corvairs all the time without unusual 
colling problems what were you doing differently?
