<VV> A/C Production

I wondered about the advance being different as well.  The distributor number is
no different and based on my personal experience, even without the VA attached,
I cant run much above about 14-15 degrees on the timing using 93 octane on my 67
RK engine.   Its Knock-O-Rama, especially if the temps are into the 90s.  I wont
have that issue this year as the car is crunched up, but for the previous 10
years, I tinkered with the advance and timing settings a lot.  I cant imagine
setting it at 24 degrees, unless there was NO advance at all!  Perhaps with some
110/130 avgas, but that is kinda hard to find at the local QT.

Only the 1965-67 non-AIR 110 hp cars with the 95 hp heads (engine code RK)
had the extended timing plate and revised idle timing. I wonder whether
these  had a revised centrifugal advance,

Lonzo is  correct about the engine code, assuming the engine is original,
of
course.  I am not certain that all factory A/C cars had the  advanced timing
plate - that would be another good research topic.
