Tim,

Ha! Why not just junk it? Scrap metal prices are up and it might be worth 50 bucks. That's what I did with the 3-speed that was in my '64 convert because it had the WORST ratios, and 1st was non-synchronized, so I could never downshift into it while rolling (and I can drive multispeed trannies in heavy trucks).

I guess that was a rant -- sorry. But out of curiosity, who'd want a 3-speed except to say a certain car is "stock"?

I have a 60 trans and differential here in Memphis NY For sale $50 or
offer? FOB .
I can not find the ID on it , no pad in the usual spot. without taking the
greasy cover off , I bet on 3:55 because a 3:89 would not last long in the
L.A.  area?
ANY interest?
It was working just fine in a stock 60 coupe from Calif that has been
converted to a 140hp powerslide.
Questions?  E mail me please. Pictures available.
Regards, Tim Colson
