And as Smitty says, USE LEFT HAND drill bits!

That way when the drill snags the bolt, it will unscrew and not hit the cam
gear!

If you suspect locktite was used, just heat the bolts with a propane/mapp
torch.

hi Seth,maybe you can relay to the guy (Garry?) on VV that he CAN drill the 
 centers of the bolts fairly easy,the OD is the 'hardened' part..slow  
speed,straight and centered with cutting/tapping fluid..someone *may have*
used  
loctite on them as a 'sealant'..
