<VV> how many miles do you drive your Corvair a year and on one trip?

Here's my irrational comment. I'm paranoid. I drove my '65 to a show At one
of the DuPont estates this weekend near Wilmington: great show; go every
year. 100 miles round trip.
The car is 47 years old; in perfect condition.
But...what about the harmonic balancer, fuel pump. rear wheel bearings,
blower bearing...all know troublemakers.
Again, 'what if'.
Bottom line; car ran fine with no failures.

Just did this past weekend - My 2 million plus Corvair miles are fairly
well documented at this point.

The real question is - why are so many out there afraid to drive their
Corvairs? Maybe i have no perspective here.
