<VV> smog pump cars, build verification

My long-time understanding, Steve, is that all '66 LA-built cars ("L" in the VIN), less a Corsa turbo or an A/C car, had a smog pump (A.I.R.) when delivered to California dealers. My guess is that most, or nearly all, have been yanked in the last forty-seven years. As to how to visually/functionally confirm that detail, I leave it to those who are much more mechanically inclined than me.

I know that. My original question was, "How can I tell if my 66 Corsa 140 had the smog equipment?" It doesn't have it now.
