Who knows? Probably it was really a 1966 or maybe the owner installed the  
A/C. He had 30 years to make some mods. And that was 18 years ago!!!!   
Please send me a photo of the Fisher Body plate and we can clear things  up.
 
The reason that the 1965 140s did NOT have A/C is because the  only factory 
compressor mount available at the time occupied the same space as  the RH 
secondary carb. And that couldn't be. So how was your compressor mounted?  Or 
didn't you have any secondary carbs?

I beg to disagree with you.  Back in 1995, i bought a '65 monza coupe  from 
a guy in Memphis, TN when we lived there.  It had every option in  the 
book, I think.  It was a 140/pg car WITH A/C.  It also had  tinted glass, a tele 
column and wood steering wheel amongst other  things.  If you say that they 
didn't make 140's w A/C in '65, how is it I  owned and drove one?  (Until 
it was in an accident)
