<VV> 65 or 66 RB engine

65 or 6 140HP Corsa only engine block.  This is the suffix to the case #.  Find it down in the crevice between the block and the rear housing.  Might need to hit that area with some brake clean to see the #.

Hi Bob, Good question and I believe the answer is "no". I don't believe there is a way to tell if the crank case is a '65 or '66. But of course the bolts on top of the heads are different sizes. Or if the engine had stuff like A/C (not available in '65 RB engines) or AIR. But just the engine number does not tell you what year. Timothy Shortle in Durango Colorado 81301
