I'm going to be moving from northern Wisconsin to Los Angeles sometime
around the second week of August, and I'm trying to figure out if my car
will make the drive or I'll have to tow it. If any of you have seen my
emails over the past couple of years, you'll know that I'm still getting in
to working on my car and I'm not the most knowledgeable in most respects...
so I don't really trust myself to evaluate my car's ability to make a
cross-country trip.

I'm hoping to find someone nearby Appleton, WI or someone going to
Kalamazoo who's taking a side trip up here who would be willing to look at
my '63 Greenbrier and say "you should fix that, you should get a new one of
those, you should have a spare of these different parts" and that sort of
thing in order to make a cross-country trip. I'm certainly willing to pay
someone for their time.

Generally speaking, does anyone have tips for making a long-distance trip?
Should I definitely NOT drive through the desert?

Cheers,
Travis Thayer (415) 320-3742
