Hello- Can anyone tell me how to check, using a volt meter, an oil pressure
switch to see if it's good or not?
Also, does the engine temp switch (that goes into the head) fail often? Anyone
have know the specs for this to check it , as this would be appreciated too.
It is a 1966 110HP - 4 speed car.
Thanks.

1 You need to use compress air with a good short scale gauge.. 0-10 psi and a goo regulator..
2 No Continuity from Tang to body with less than 5 psi... tells you it good.
Head temp "snap switches" on a 110 transfer at 525F.. same scenario... Open until temp...
The both ground the same dashl ight to make it come on....
So when first starting the engine... you are testing the OP switch only.
The Head temp switch always starts coming on at a lower and lower temp until it will stay on before you can get out of the driveway! Failsafe!
