As Seth mentioned, I use a similar setup, but with a 3/8 beam torque wrench
and a small 7/16 socket.

Subject: <VV> torquing con rods

What I'm looking for is combination of torque wrenches and sockets that best
work when torqueing the caps  on the con rods.

With all the tools I have there seems to always be a few that I cannot get
the torque wrench on. Usually I use a short breaker bar and judge the
tightness compared to the torqued ones. I know this is close, but I'd feel
better if I could properly torque the nuts.

I've built several engines and haven't had one fail due to loose or a tight
con rod nut.
