Many years back, a friend and car collector bought a 1969 Monza coupe in NC. On driving back to Illinois , he was stopped by a Tn state patrolman. The papers had been left on the sellers table and he couldn't be reached . He was taken to nearest station where the Superior officer asked what the problem was. The patrolman then explained and stated that he thought the car was stolen. When asked and told what the car was , the officer replied,let him go, nobody steals Corvairs. That is an insult.
