<VV> Norm King Parts

Fear not, Frank ... There were not all that many NOS parts at the start.    But there was a huge quantity of USED parts including lots of the same parts we all have saved over the years.  For reasons only known to Norm, a lot of the used parts saved were failed parts which had been replaced during repairs.  One of our [DACC]  very knowledgeable guys spent several days cleaning up and sorting parts before the sale.

The sale was quite well advertised [I included the information in the DACC 'Aircooler'] and dozens came from near and far for the sale.  Mr. Steve Johansson had taken possession of all parts and cars, and vowed to get as much of Norm's collection into the hands of Corvair collectors as possible.  True to his word, Steve sold and auctioned off everything at pretty much the buyers offers.  I think you may rest assured that little of real value was lost.
