I enjoyed reading Lee Knauf's article in the NOV/DEC '13 Communique and even more B. Mitchell Carlson's following. I sent an email to him through the Sports Car Market and American Car Collector magazine contact for a photo CD of 30-80 images per car. I'm promoting the CD here in hopes there's enough interest in it for him to mass produce it. Please read his article if you haven't already and you'll see what a wealth of knowledge is in the text and could be in photos also.

Interestingly, the bidder who won Lots 2, 5 and 6L; also won most of the high dollar bidding cars/trucks early on Day 1 of the Lambrecht Auction. That works out to a figure over 1 million dollars. Surprisingly, these " cars " need complete restorations, as the rodents, mildew and rust corrosion issues are needing attention if one expects to recoup the unique quality and value of having MSOs on 50 year old cars never on the road. It's yet to be seen if the investment was wise. I'm thinking it's the GM Heritage Collection being restocked after it was depleted in '09 at the Barrett-Jackson Miami as per the Government take-over of all the GM Corporate assests.
