I'd agree that many of these components were probably designed for 
boosters, but not all US disc brake cars had boosters as oem -- again, 
over generalizations may come back to bite one -- I know of at least one 
60's KH installation that didn't, and I swapped those components onto my 
wife's 67 Cougar.  Worked okay.

Another thing which one might keep in mind is altering the brake pedal 
swing arm to improve leverage -- such modifications should not be done 
without serious consideration or consultations.
