Y'know, with all the carrying-on I finally had to go the John's Facebook 
page and see what set this off.

Okay, he has political views which he shares on Facebook.  These days, 
many people do.

In the context of Corvairs that may or may not be available from a 
Maryland junkyard, John is correct when he says that comments critical 
of his politics are undeserved.

But at the same time, since he chooses to share his political viewpoint 
on Facebook I think he should be prepared to receive political comments 
from those who visit his Facebook page, be those comments well-reasoned 
or mindless.

So in my opinion it's a draw.  And we're not supposed to discuss 
politics on VV, anyway.  Could we all let it go, please?
