 That's what I'm saying!   No need to re-invent the wheel!  Especially when time  and $$$  are a constraint!
I've never owned a  Factory Stock"  Vair...for more than a few days....LOL!!
Just since Joining VV in '98....  I've had
Vair powered  VW transaxled Sandcar, Vair powered Boat, 66 vert, 65 Corsa v8,  40 mpg '65 Monza [ Ed Corson's winning car],  Vair powered Meyer's Manx,  '69 #5990, '66 Turbo'd Monza, 140 pg  '64 Monza, and '67  110/pg Monza  unrestored with 197k  mostly documented miles....my current common driver....  
It's lowered 1", '93 Vette  rear lower strutrods,  Western  14x7"  10 spoke Minilite Clone wheels [10 lb.!!!]  factory length quick arms  with stock box....nice!  Since I have my   Webered' Turbo coupe, this car is set up for smooth  and easy operation, as well as being economical around town [ 19-21 mpg city only ]  Killer Stereo..quiet exhaust... bumper guards...  see attached pics

But this car is rusty..Door Jambs.... Idaho mud and pine needles!  $1500......sold Pontiac Sport Wheels [ heavy 30 lb.!!]  and used that $$$  to make all the mods I wanted...  4 trouble free years... so far!
