<VV> Rolling the dice? green Bearings

One of the first cautions I heard in the Corvair groups, many years ago,
was "Stay away from "Green" Bearings for early models". ("Green" being a
type or brand designation, not a color!) The early Corvairs, as well as all of
the FCs, use a rear wheel bearing that self-adjusts in two different ways
as the suspension goes through it's travel. The factory design bearings
allow for this, and let the outer race of the bearing swivel during travel. The
Green bearing supposedly does not. Okay, I get it. The Green bearings
supposedly won't last very long in normal usage, because certain loads are not
compensated for by the design. That said, I find myself with two brand-new
FC size "Green" bearings. I have no use for these bearings. Rather than
just drop them in the steel recycling bin, I thought I would ask if anybody
has a reasonable need or use for them. I will not recommend them for regular
use on an FC. So - - Anybody have a need for these? I want only the cost of
shipping them to you, probably about $12, Priority Mail.

Anybody? First Come, First served.

I am sure there will be more "strange" stuff. The more I take out, the
more I find. I feel like an archeologist, digging through strata.
