<VV> Need help putting 140 block into PG

I tried this with a '65 convert some years ago in California. The engine ran but I had to use Low and really get on the pedal to get any decent acceleration out of the Powerglide. Someone at the time said the carbs from a manual 140 weren't right for a Powerglide; later, somebody else said the Powerglide's governor has to be changed for it to operate properly. See how it goes for you.

But your plans for the Saginaw 4-speed mean the Powerglide is temporary, so "never mind."

110 manifolds won't fit on the 140 exhaust stacks.

Don't have 140 exhaust -  that's why I want to use the 110 set to test ...

Move the 140 engine over with dual exhaust intact and still attached to
engine.  Don't use the 110 exhaust.

Oil pan same unless someone put an aftermarket one on.

I'm not sure what sort of performance you get with a manual style 140
attached to a PG, but it will be drivable.
