Ignacio Says
I put a battery in, turned the key and it doesn't crank at all.
Generator/Fan light comes on but nothing else. -- IV

Smitty says; Ignacio get a piece of wire about 15 inches long and strip a
little insulation off of both ends. Make suer the car is out of gear. Look
in the left front of the engine compartment for a two wire connector that
has a large purple wire and a small yellow wire. Shove one end of your
jumper into the purple side of the connector and touch the positive post of
the battery with the other end. If the engine cranks then you will know
that the primary side of the start circuit is OK (battery cables, cable
connections, Solenoid) and the fault is in the starter switch circuit
