Kent,
Is that to say that 8240 is equivalent to cameo white; and if so, is it equivalent to cameo white for all years? This is good information that I'd like to post on the Corvanatics web page. Do you know of any other ppg formulation numbers that are equivalent to Corvair-95 colors?
Steve

Hey Rod (& group),

PPG's Omni AU MTK line has the correct formula so you don't have to do a
color match. The formula number is 8290.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Any commercial automotive
paint store that handles PPG should have no trouble. The way they found it
for me was I told them that I wanted 1964 Chevy truck Ivory / Off-White,
code number 526.

Happy Labor Day weekend...I'm prepping my 64 greenbrier for eventual paint,
and wondering if anyone has a preferred white beltline & dash color and/or
code recommendation vs the off-white/ivory factory code per corvair kid's
wonderfully detailed webpage? FYI I'm going for a reasonably stock refresh
so original may be perfectly fine - btw, main color will be factory
turquoise.

Thx!
