<VV> Beater corvairs

I have a 62 Convertible, I consider a beater car.
Some call it a Rat Rod,
Primer black with surface rust peaking through.
Bias ply wide whites, brakes and fuel system have been gone through.
Faded bumpers and trim, with corrosion on the windshield trim.

I did upgrade the seats though to a set completely redone, to replace the
ones that lost foam on a daily basis.

The top has been replaced, as well.

I'll take it to a cruise night, but it does a lot of errands, went to work
quite often, and pretty much got washed once or twice a year.

It's safe, but not at all pretty.

Originally, when I bought my first Corvair back in 1975, that one I snagged
on its way to the scrap yard and used it for a winter car.
That was a true winter beater car, sacrificed to the salt instead of my 66
Dodge convertible which was my Summer Car. (Still have that Dodge too).
