And to answer Terry's question, the only wiring installed by Fisher was the wire to the dome light (because it gets covered up by the headliner) and the rear antenna wire (option) - covered by the rear carpet, seats, etc.  All other wiring was done by Chevrolet.

The back up light wiring on the car body is the same for 3 and 4 speeds in every year. For 60 to 65, the back up lamp wiring switch connector is in the tunnel. This is where the three speed switch resides, so the harness connector plugs right onto the three speed switch. For the four speeds, the switch is screwed into the bottom of the transmission, BUT, that really long harness that is part of the four speed back up lamp switch reaches all the way to the harness connector by the three speed switch location.

For 66 to 69, the same back up lamp switch is used for three and four speeds, and it is in the same location, so the same harness connector fits either switch.
