<VV> Automatic Linkage

It really depends on how you want o attach the carb linkage to the front
of the vehicle (accelerator pedal). All the carb cross shaft linkages
can be used on a 110. Yes, the 140 has extra bellcranks, but it will
work for the two carbs you have. The differences in cross shafts is car
vs FC vs A/C car for the most part.

The TV rod (linkage between the carb cross shaft and Powerglide (TV
lever) is different due to rear suspension details. The length between
TV lever and carb crosshaft does not change for Powerglides. I'm not
sure it changes for manual transmissions either, as I have piles of
wearly and late TV rods, and there are just two types (early and late).

In car applications, the accelerator pedal links via two rods and a
belcrank to the TV lever on the Powerglide. Then the TV rod connects
this mobvement to the carb cross shaft.

In FC applications, except for early 1961 which is car like, the
accelerator pedal is cable (wire rope) connected to the carb cross
shaft, then the TV rod delivers this movement to the Powerglide for
shifting purposes.

If you do not use a TV rod, you can tie the TV lever in a position and
the shift point will stay basically the same regardless of throttle
opening. No the best, but the buggy will drive.

This is an FC cross shaft:

This is a typical non A/C car two carb cross shaft:

You would only need the FC cross shaft if you use a cable linkage to go
to the accelerator pedal.

Choose the TV rod to clear your rear suspension.
