As usual I stand corrected as far as the nichrome wire and etc. Everyone
seems to agree that it's a variable resistor (no matter what material) and
a fixed resistor will read correctly at one point only what ever you might
want that point to be.
     Don'y know about the others but westeck guages are 2" with white
numbers on a black face. Has built in lighting but that can be fixed easy.
Close enough to stock for me when it's a better item-Mike Mann
