<VV> Corvan brake Question

It is made this way, so if there should ever be a shoe failure, that the pistons will not pop out, causing a complete hydraulic failure.  It is intended that the cylinder be removed for rebuilding.  The General never made changes without having a good reason, and I try to never defeat the intended purpose of those changes / upgrades.
