<VV> Corvair engine codes (1965 RV = PG/AIR?)

As in "ROAR"?

 

Interesting point, though, that these codes might be concatenated, as in
"RM" + "RE" = "RMRE" = "M/T, SHPE" + "AC" ?

 

I've never checked the engine codes this closely until now, but this
exchange has been VERY illuminating!

I'm pretty sure the engine code for turbos with "A/C" was "RDRR"!
