Bob, funny when those types of things come back to bite you.
I bought a rebuilt distributor from a reliable source once and installed it
with new points, etc, set it up, ran great for about 30 miles. Reset, twice
to get home. Inspected the lobes of dist and had been accidentally bead
blasted which wore the points cam block away. So I put a pertronix in and
has run great since.
