<VV> Fw: Direction flasher revisited

Thanks for the advice.  I used my 1969 assy manual to locate it. ( UPC 12 B3  view B). It is supposed to be located on the steering gear support in a rectangular bracket. The bracket is there in my car but no flasher, so it must have been moved or has fallen out of the bracket. I'll look for it again.

I feel rather foolish. I can't locate the directional flasher in my '69 . It was clicking very slowly, so I wanted to replace it, but no matter where I looked or felt, I could not find it. II have disassembled a lot of Corvair dashboards, but for the life of me I can't seem to find this one.
 The regular manuals do not help except for the wire coloring. It is tight under the steering wheel!
