<VV> Craigslist Warning : Be especially careful when buying/selling on Craigslist!

You should be cautious all the time. People are followed home from banks or attacked in the parking lot etc etc. That's why I always carry a gun and try to always be aware of my surroundings. If someone asked me to meet them at a police station the deal would be off. From a lot of experience they are less trustworthy than someone I know nothing about.

Hopefully I don't need to say this, but just in case:
Meet the buyer/seller at a public place, preferably at a police station if
possible.

The couple that put an ad for a 1966 Mustang on Craigslist paid dearly for
NOT being careful.

Unfortunately, the "vintage Mustang" convertible that they drove 180 miles
to drive was not a very good example and appears to be a hardtop with the
roof cut off:

Had they known more about what they were buying, they might not have even
made the trip?
Very sad the way it turned out.

Officials with Craigslist referred to the safety page on the company's
website, which notes, "Be especially careful when buying/selling high value
items."
