With a leak there, I'm thinking oil cooler seals.  Very easy fix once you
have the top shroud off.

Sorry but I neglected to tell everyone the total facts. The motor is 140 in
a LM. The cover in question is where the distributer is. The leak is on the
bolt area near the oil cooler. So do I remove oil cooler and distributer
before the cover?Sounds like I have to remove engine mount and lower motor
somewhat. Some say to remove distributer and some say no. So what is the
consenses? What about a good Aluminum cleaner to use on heads and block?
